05 May 2021

Ref No: 050521 (1)
UEN: S97SS0046G

This circular is in addition to the one we sent on 03 May 2021 [Ref No.: 030521 (3)] concerning Submission of Contactless Ops at Process Terminals.

As of 1 May 2021, travellers arriving from or transiting through India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the past 21 days are Not To Land (NTL) in Singapore. In view of the border control measures, ships arriving from or transiting through the 5 NTL countries: India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the past 21 days calling at shipyards / process terminals must seek EDB Central COVID 19 Ops Team (CCO)’s approval before accepting the ship into their shipyard / process terminal.

Process terminals and shipyards must submit their contactless cargo operations (ops) or contactless ops with segregation to EDB CCO for approval. Thereafter, for every ship that arrives or transit through the 5 NTL countries must be approved by EDB CCO. Contactless Ops will be the default cargo ops in shipyards and process terminals with effect from 2 May 2021.

For more details on the approval process, please refer to this PDF by EDB.
