Bringing WSH to your doorstep – WSH Council’s Roving WSH Exhibits 2017

To help you bring this year’s campaign message “Prevent all injuries. Go home safe and healthy” to your workplace, the WSH Council has created new sets of WSH exhibits in 2017 available for loan to support your in-house WSH campaigns and outreach.

WSH Exhibits on Look. Think. Do.(2017)
Targeting seven WSH hotspots – Working at Heights, Working on Roofs, Traffic Management, Loading on Vehicles, Working with Machines, Electrical Equipment and Lifting Operations – these exhibits were developed to remind workers to Look out for danger, Think of how they can protect themselves and Do their work safely.

Safety Starts With Me Competition Showcase 2017

Riding on the theme  “Prevent all injuries. Go home safe and healthy”, the annual Safety Starts With Me Competition aims to spread the WSH message to the wider community.
In its 9th year, the competition consists of four categories – Creative Story Writing, Creative Photography, Poster Drawing as well as Animation and Short Film

To find out on how you can bring the WSH exhibits to your workplace, contact Ms Kev Theresa Lee at Kev_Theresa_Lee@wshc.gov.sg or call 66924989.

Health Hazards When Working with Cement

Cement is one of the most widely used construction materials. Anyone who uses cement (or mixtures containing e.g. mortar and concrete) should be aware that it is hazardous to health and that safe working practices must be used to minimise the risk of contracting Occupational Skin Diseases (OSD).
