UEN: S97SS0046G

In consideration that COVID-19 variants could be more transmissible by air, the current situation can be better mitigated by improving ventilation and air quality in indoor environments. Therefore, ASPRI would like to seek your assistance to cascade the joint BCA-NEA-MOH Guidance Note on Ventilation to your employees and colleagues, and urge everyone to adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Guidance Note on Improving Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality in Buildings amid the COVID-19 situation: NEA | Guidance on Improving Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality in Buildings amid the COVID-19 situation
  2. Accompanying Press Statement: NEA | Good Hygiene And Improved Ventilation To Further Reduce The Risk Of COVID-19 Transmission

We strongly advise everyone to review your company’s Safe Management Measures and take into consideration of concrete measures to improve ventilation and air cleaning, especially in higher-risk premises i.e. enclosed air-conditioned premises with limited / no mechanical ventilation / air filtration.

Our Warmest Regards,

ASPRI Secretariat
