Changes to the Employment Act (EA) and What It Means For You!

To help members understand the amendments to the Employment Act (EA) which took effect on 1 April 2019 for member companies, ASPRI collaborated with Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) and Mr. Jeffrey Lim from Joyce A. Tan & Partners LLP to organise a seminar at the Trade Association Hub on 6 March 2019.
More than 75 members attended the seminar that was supported by the Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) and designed to help members comprehend the changes and learn how to mitigate legal disputes, if necessary.
The presentation was lively and interactive. Members were introduced to valuable HR-related grants and programmes such as P-MAX and Place-and-Train schemes from e2i. They also received an attractive SHRI discount code for related courses aligned with the theme of the seminar. Their concerns and queries well adequately addressed by speakers, who are known experts in their respective fields.
