Digitalise Your Business for Higher Profitability Seminar

To help members further pursue digital transformation in whatever could be most relevant to them, ASPRI held a “Digitalise Your Business for Higher Profitability” seminar on 28 February 2020. Attended by close to 30 members and guests, the seminar was designed to help members look into various aspects of digitalisation that could be harnessed for their operations.

Mr Jasper Goh from Back Office Partners began the programme by sharing examples of how data could be better managed, paving the way for more data driven decisions. Singapore Polytechnic’s Senior Lecturer, Mr Tang Kah Heong explained the wide range of possibilities of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) from finance, accounting to sales and customer service, and Ms Irence Wee from IBM Singapore introduced the Nationwide E-Invoicing Network that can help businesses improve efficiency, reduce cost, enjoy faster payment and stay green at them same time.

As the seminar was held at Ricoh Singapore, Ricoh’s Mr Adrian Lim gave attendees some insights into the company and its recent office transformation. Attendees also toured the office to learn about the thought process behind each change.

The seminar ended with Mr Liang Shaohong from IMDA introducing the SME Go Digital programme, a 3-step process built on the on the foundation of Enhanced iSPRINT to help SMEs use digital technologies and build stronger digital capabilities to seize growth opportunities.
