Discover New Ways to Enhance Your Business (Contractual Agreement, Cybersecurity and P-Max)

With the support of Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) and Singapore National Employment Federation (SNEF), ASPRI successfully organised a knowledge-sharing session on 18 September 2019. Over 30 member companies gathered to gain valuable insights with experts in various fields on how they can enhance their business.

A high percentage of contract disputes concerns what the contract means. This was exactly why Mr. Johnny Lim and Ms. Debby Lim from Shook Lin & Bok LLP covered key terms that members should look out for beforehand in contract agreements and even shared real-life scenarios so that they could relate them to their own situation.

The attendees also learnt how to tackle the ever-increasing problem of cyber attackers becoming inventive with online ransom attacks. Director of Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, Mr. Yum Shoen Yih provided simple tips that could easily mitigate approximately 70% vulnerability of companies dealing with sensitive data. Lastly, there was also a presentation from SNEF on grants available for recruiting PMETs which members found the information useful.

The day ended with members enjoying networking with one another and with the speakers over a range of refreshments. ASPRI would like to thank all members who attended the seminar and hope that more members can join us in this journey of continuous learning.
