Members Engagement Lunch

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Association was unable to conduct large format events as per past practices. However, ASPRI still wanted to continue engaging with member companies through an event by means of a smaller scaled format.

For this reason, ASPRI reached out to a total of 60 member companies and organised a closed-door lunch session. The lunch also served a good opportunity for the 13th Executive Council to connect with members over a meal and to understand and identify key areas that the Association should focus on for 2021.

Member companies were separated into groups in accordance wih the COVID-19 Safe Management Measures (SMM). Each group were allocated a different day for their lunch, with each lunch being hosted by one of the 13th Executive Council members. Only one representative from each member company was allowed to attend due to SMM.

To understand members’ challenges and to solicit feedback and new ideas, Council members asked probing questions on various topics during the lunches. The topics included Process Industry, Enhanced R1 Criteria, Digitalisation, Sustainability, Training and more. Representatives from member companies were eager and candid to share their concerns and thoughts on the topics.

The Association is grateful to our members for attending the lunches and sharing with us their challenges and concerns. We look forward to holding more similar events in the future in order to intimately connect with our members and better understand them.
