Invitation To Contact Tracing Devices Webinar By PCMMC Cohorting WG & EDB

Over the past few months, contact tracing devices (i.e. BluePass or TraceTogether tokens) have been issued to migrant workers to enable swifter and more accurate contact tracing. As both BluePass and TraceTogether tokens are not certified Intrinsically Safe (IS), they are not allowed into most process plant worksites. As such, process plant owners and their contractors should consider the proper handling and storage of such tokens at the worksites to prevent spurious close contacts (e.g. from tokens left in lockers).

To address this, the Process Construction Maintenance Management Committee’s (PCMMC) Cohorting Work Group has worked with Economic Development Board (EDB) to organise a webinar on Contact Tracing Devices where they will cover the following agendas:

  1. Best practices of storage and handling of BP at worksite
  2. PCM SMM requirements that are recently reviewed
  3. EDB/ESG advisory on the IS status of the to-be issued TT devices
