Career Conversion Programme (CCP)

Career Conversion Programme (CCP) is a career conversion programme targeted at mid-career Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs), to undergo skills conversion and transit into new occupations or sectors that have good prospects and opportunities for progression. The programme helps companies in the Process Construction and Maintenance (PCM) industry recruit experienced PMETs and train them for the new roles.

The Association of Process Industry (ASPRI) has been appointed to facilitate the programme and customise training courses that reskill PMETs with the necessary competencies.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates:

  • Singapore Citizen (SC) or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR)
  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Graduated or Completed National Service for at least 2 years
  • PMETs from other industries or those taking on different job roles within PCM

Participating Companies:

  • Nominated PCM professional must be newly hired within the last 3 months (i.e: 90 days) prior to enrolment into programme
  • Offer a permanent full-time PMET position or at least a 12-month employment contract with a monthly gross salary of $2,800 and above*
  • PCM professional must not be enrolled with any other PCP under WSG at the time of application
  • Company must not pay any third party for services and consultancy related to this PCP application
  • Participating companies under PCP shall not claim Absentee payroll for training courses

*Gross monthly salary refers to basic monthly salary and fixed monthly allowance and hence does not include variable allowance or overtime.

Funding Support

* Enhanced funding is available under Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS) and SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy for eligible trainees.

** LTU: Unemployed for at least 6 months or more.

*** Due to enhancements made to the Jobs Growth Incentive (“JGI”), WSG will be making some temporary adjustments to salary support funding for new hire who enrolled into the CCP between 1 Sep 2020 to 31 Mar 2022. The salary support funding will be disbursed to participating employers over a longer period comprising the CCP training duration of 6 months and an additional period of retention equivalent to the training duration.

 

Training Courses - Field Supervisor Foundation Fundamental (FSFF)

  • Job designation: Field Supervisor / PCM Superintendent / Quantity Surveyors / Project Co-ordinators
  • Compulsory Modules: 40hrs
  • Course Fee: $1,860 (before GST)
