Overcoming COVID-19 Together: Safe Distancing During Transportation of Workers
OVERCOMING COVID-19 TOGETHER: SAFE DISTANCING DURING TRANSPORTATION OF WORKERS
ASPRI would like to gently remind members that despite being broadly considered as Essential Services, companies are still required to practice the enhanced safe distancing at all times, even during transportation of workers. Earlier, it was observed that several companies still continue to transport their workers in packed lorries.
We anticipate authorities imposing significantly stricter measures to ensure safe distancing, especially with the rise in number of cases in dormitories. Hence, please make necessary arrangement to ensure safe commuting of your workers such as:
• Making multiple trips OR
• Increasing the number of lorries
On that note, please ensure all business operations are in line with the advisories provided by the government.
