In reference to the Association's email on 09 April 2021 [Ref. No: 090421 (2)], we would like to remind our members on the following details.
The Central COVID-19 Operations (CCO) team in EDB was formed to support Process companies by managing COVID cases with an aim of containing and reducing worksite transmission risk to zero.
In the event of a confirmed COVID case at the worksite, a COVID Management Operations (CMO) Incident Manager will
- engage affected companies using the Incident Response and Management Plan (IRMP) framework and,
- assess the affected worksite transmission risk based on a Risk Assessment Matrix (RAM).
Therefore, it is critical that companies in the Process sector update their worksite Safe Management Measures (SMM) and incorporate IRMP into their policy, in consideration of RAM.
This is a mandatory requirement to be implemented with effect from 1 Jan 2021 onwards.
To assist our members and help appointed SMOs/SDOs understand and implement the IRMP framework and RAM to fulfil their duties effectively, ASPRI-IPI has developed a Process Industry C+ Incident Response & Management Plan (IRMP) E-training module.
This E-training module will be available for access from 12 April 2021 on IPI Connect and will be complimentary for ASPRI members for a limited period, until 14 May 2021. Subsequently, access to this E-training module will be chargeable at S$50 (w/ GST S$53.50).
