Survey on Electricity Price Spike

Ref No: 180222 (1)
UEN: S97SS0046G

The global energy crisis had brought about a sharp spike in electricity prices in Singapore. This phenomenon had already forced several private energy retailers out from Singapore’s Open Energy Market and has made it challenging for companies to secure fixed energy price contract.

To alleviate some of these cost pressure, the Energy Market Authority (EMA) had implemented measures such as the Temporary Electricity Contracting Support Scheme (Trecs). However, the lack of a longer-term solution is of concern, especially amidst a post pandemic economic recovery.

ASPRI is aware of this and would like to understand how our members are affected. We would appreciate it if you could complete this survey by 23 Feb 2022 (Wed), 5:00pm. The survey will take approximately 4 minutes to complete.

Your feedback will support the association to raise our concerns to the relevant parties, and enable us to attempt negotiating with energy providers for a group-buy or other suitable program.

All information shared in this survey will be aggregated and no individual company information will be shared to any external party, beyond ASPRI.
