From 1 Sep 2021, all Work Permit and S Pass holders arriving from Category III and IV countries [1]* and staying in dormitories or working in the Construction, Marine and Process (CMP) sectors will no longer be subjected to an additional 7-day testing regime after completing their 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN) at a SHN Dedicated Facility (SDF).
However, all non-Malaysian Work Permit Holders (WPHs) from the CMP sector holding In-Principle Approval (IPA) arriving from these countries will still be required to complete the 4-day residential onboarding programme [2]* at the Migrant Worker Onboarding Centre (MWOC).

The SHN fees will be adjusted due to the changes to the SHN regime. As announced by the Ministry of Health previously, the self-administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART) kits given to your migrant workers during their SHN will no longer be subsidised [4]* from 20 Aug 2021. This has also been factored in as part of the revised fees as listed in Annex A. MOM will also inform employers of the revised fees when your migrant workers are onboarded at the SDF.
