[Request for Information] Members’ Feedback on Additional COVID-19 support measures for businesses and workers
On 17 Aug 2020, the Job Support Scheme (JSS) was extended to provide more wage support for companies, compared to Construction (Tier 1: 50%), Marine (Tier 2: 30%), Process Sector has been classified as Tier 3: 10%. The process industry, grappling with similar foreign manpower related issues like the construction and marine sectors, has been very slow to restart.
ASPRI intends to lodge an appeal to MOM for an increase in the JSS extended to the Process sector. As such, please complete a survey on the dormitory situation for your company here: http://bit.ly/PCMJSS
Your timely response by 28 August (Friday) is crucial as sufficient submissions are required for MOM’s consideration of this appeal. It should take you no more than 5 minutes.
