Together we can overcome COVID-19 // Industry Workshop
As Singapore stepped up its risk assessment on COVID-19 to DORSCON Orange on 7 February 2020, enhanced precautionary measures were put in place to contain the spread of COVID-19, which include ongoing efforts such as:
- tracking and isolating individuals who are suspected to be infected;
- ensuring compliance with quarantine or leave of absence measures; and
- providing medical care for individuals who are infected.
The WSH Council urges all employers to be flexible and supportive of their employees’ needs during this period. Employees are urged to cooperate with their employers in executing the business continuity plans. Both employers and employees are strongly encouraged to take precautionary steps according to advisories issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Ministry of Health (MOH).
