Dear Valued ASPRI Members,

Webinar with ASRI Members on Safe Management Measures (SMM) for the PCM Sector

UPDATE ON COVID-19 SITUATION AND PREVIEW OF SAFE MANAGEMENT MEASURES (SMM) FOR THE PCM SECTOR

On 19 May 2020, it was announced that Safe Management Measures (SMM) are important requirements to ensure a safe restart after Circuit Breaker (CB) period. Similarly, many members have raised questions on various aspects of safe restart; worker, transport, accommodation and worksite. ASPRI has been working closely with government agencies and the plant owner community to prepare the PCM sector for a safe restart.

Due to the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation, ASPRI does not have full clarity in all aspects of safe restart.

However, it is crucial to keep our members updated on the current COVID-19 situation and preview the upcoming SMM for the PCM sector, to allow for better preparation after CB.

The programme of the Zoom Webinar is as follows:

1.    Overview of current COVID-19 situation (10 mins)

    * Impact of COVID-19 on the Process Industry
    * ASPRI’s response to COVID-19 to aid Members (e-Learning modules from ASPRI-IPI)

2. Safe Restart for Process Industry (20 mins)

    – Preview of SMM for the PCM Sector

3. Q&A (30 mins)

    – Reps from Government Agencies will be present to answer written questions posted by attendees
